Acetaminophen danger surprises researchers

Patients in a recent study who took the prescription painkiller hydrocodone with acetaminophen showed abnormalities in blood tests that can signal liver damage. Researchers believed the hydrocodone was behind the abnormalities, but further study showed the cause to be acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol. Read more »
