A new study led by the Mayo Clinic has found that Humira is an effective treatment for Crohn's patients who do not respond to Remicade. According to researchers, approximately 50 percent of Crohn's patients who receive repeated injections of Remicade will eventually develop an allergic reaction or will stop responding to the treatment. Researchers found that Humira was an effective short-term treatment option for those patients.
