Scientists in Australia say remission from rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is possible if the condition is diagnosed and treated early. Researchers says the key factor to achieving RA remission is patients' use of disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs such as Rheumatrex and Plaquenil. But the meds must be prescribed in the first few years of disease onset for remission to be possible.
