A growing number of medications are used to treat more than one condition, doing "double-duty" work for ailments they are both approved and not approved to fight. For example, a recent study has found that the skin cancer cream Efudex also helps to smooth the appearance of wrinkles. And the well-known cough medication Robitussin may help women conceive, studies suggest.
