Pain may speed aging by 30 years: study

According to a new study, younger people who live with chronic pain have similar abilities and comparable appearance to people who are decades older. For the study, scientists looked at such abilities as walking or jogging, stair climbing, bathing, dressing, and eating. Researchers found that the abilities of chronic pain patients ages 50-59 were far more comparable to subjects ages 80-89 who were pain-free.
