Simponi effective against RA in new trial

A new rheumatoid arthritis (RA) drug known as Simponi has been shown to be effective at the long-term treatment of the condition in two new clinical trials. According to a press release from the drug's maker, patients with active RA who were given Simponi ever four weeks showed sustained improvement in their RA signs and symptoms and experienced improved physical function through one year.
