Scientists use computer to find clues to RA

An international team of researchers has found three new genetic factors that are linked to the development of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and they have targeted four more genes that they believe are promising targets for later study. The scientists made this discovery by using a computer program called GRAIL that sifted through three decades of published research to isolate the areas of the human genome most likely to be linked to RA.
