Clinical trial: Add-on treatment for osteoarthritis pain

This is a study to compare the safety and effectiveness of different doses of a new add-on medication for osteoarthritis (currently called JNJ-42160443) to a placebo in the treatment of chronic, moderate-to-severe knee or hip pain in people who have OA. This national study is currently recruiting adults ages 40 years to 80 years old who have this condition and who meet the study's other criteria.
