Slow Breathing May Ease Pain: Study

According to a new study published in the journal Pain, the simple practice of slow breathing may help soothe patients' emotional and physical reactions to moderate pain. The researchers say this finding may support the use of yoga breathing exercises and other meditation techniques as treatments for chronic pain.
