Garlic May Slash Cancer Risk

People who eat high levels of garlic appear to have a lower overall risk of cancer, researchers say. In a study, scientists found that those who ate the most garlic had a lower level of a disease-causing process called nitrosation. Nitrosation converts substances found in foods--such as nitrates--into cancer-causing compounds.   Read full story >
