Common Painkillers Boost Heart Risks in Healthy People: Study

Results from a new study suggest that healthy people who take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen and naproxen to relieve pain may be raising their risk of dying from heart-related causes. Both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and cardiac experts have already warned people who have heart disease about taking the drugs due to their link to increased heart risks.
