Drugmaker Expands Tylenol Recall

Drugmaker Johnson & Johnson is expanding its over-the-counter medication recall to include both children and adult formulas of Tylenol, Motrin, and Benadryl. Company officials report that 21 lots of these medications have been recalled following January 2010 complaints of a "musty or moldy odor." Some of the drugs included in this expanded recall include Children's Tylenol, adult-strength Benadryl, Motrin IB, Tylenol Extra Strength, Tylenol Day & Night, and Tylenol PM. This is the fifth recall in nine months for Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiary McNeil. (For a complete list of recalled drugs, visit this website.)
