We can also see from looking at the last column [MOST REASONABLE GOALS] that these three goals, if realized, may represent a "net gain" totaling eight points. Achieving these could represent a significant improvement in our quality of life. [I don't believe that it is a coincidence that all three of these goals involve increasing our self reliance and independence.]

It is also noteworthy that these three goals are highly rated in terms of importance, ranging from 8 to 10 points, and totaling 26 points. It is significant that the goal of Financial Independence (which incorporates all three of our Most Reasonable Goals) was not selected. This suggests that we are now willing to work towards Financial Independence one piece at a time, but are unwilling to try to achieve this more encompassing goal all at once. This is probably wise.

A great more is suggested by the data in this one questionnaire form, but we will wait to consider these until we have addressed all the questions.
This approach to measuring our interests in seeking work and our prospects for achieving our goals from that work is itself a work in progress. There is much more to come. If you have any ideas about how to improve this project, please send these suggestions to me in a comment on this blog or e-mail these to me at robin.cunningham1@gmail.com.
