Hello,
Yesterday I was interviewed live on People First Radio CHLY 101.7 FM about my memoir "My Schizophrenic Life: The Road to Recovery from Mental Illness." It went well. The interviewer quoted from the book and had some excellent questions. I spoke about my experiences and struggle with schizoaffective disorder.

I want to Congratulate you on your book and for your radio interview.Although I have not read your book I was Impressed by your interview and also admire how well you were able to do the radio interview.
I have always said I too would like to write a book about my experiences living with schizoaffective illness but I know i could never be as realxed as you seemed to be doing your radio onterview. I Admire you and also would like to Thank You for getting your story published so others can learnwhat it is like living with a serious Mental Illness!
Dear Janet,
Thank you for your kind words! It means a lot to be recognized by others after years of feeling I wasn't good enough because I was ill. After 30 years of illness, I can reflect with more objectivity and see the cup as half full not half empty.
Even though I'm not cured, I believe recovery is possible and those with MI can lead productive, full lives.
Thanks Again!
