I am for anything that improves cognitive abilities. That is why I can't work -- the only way I really learn how to do something is by reading instructions. None of the jobs I have tried let you learn that way. They want to show you or tell you how to do it, and for me, that just doesn't "stick" no matter how many times they go over it. I asked one boss to let me take the instruction manual home for the cash register so I would better understand how to use it. She said, "No. It has to stay here in my office." And of course, during work, I didn't have time to read it. I was too busy screwing up on the cash register.
