Message to Our Community Members

  • Hello everyone,

I'm taking the risk to write this SharePost because I feel it is necessary to address the ongoing issue of spam at this web site and the technical difficulties some of you have been experiencing in your Home Page trying to access site features.

As you are, I'm greatly upset that the spam has gotten through.

Our IT department is aware of the problem and working to fix it and has been on the case.

I need you to work with us to get this resolved by doing the following:

E-mail me at my Connection e-mail address with the following details:

Your user name/profile name (not your password) and the step-by-step sequence of actions you took that led to the blocked access.

Add This Infographic to Your Website or Blog With This Code:

For example, I'm Christina and when I log into my home page and then click on "Create a SharePost" I'm unable to create a SharePost because I get the message:   describe the message ideally type in the exact words of the error message.  And so on.

For those of you who have been getting spam, please e-mail the conditions under which you have received the spam:  for example, "I posted this SharePost [title of SharePost] and this is my user name (not password).  In the comments section I received spam."

Or: when logging into my private messages, I'm getting spam in my inbox.

Please try to be as detailed and specific as to the type of problem you are having and when you are having it.

Thank you for you patience as the staff at the Connection continue to work on this.  Your contributions are always most welcome.

Rest assured these "comments" are not responses to SharePosts and have been spam and we are aware of the problem and are taking action to resolve it.

Kindly refrain from clicking on the links to these product advertisements.

Please continue to post SharePosts and ask Questions.

    Best regards,

    Christina Bruni
