Hi there

 

Just popped on over from the depression site.  Wanted to tell you how much I like this post on how to lobby for mental health services.  I think it is something we forget that we do have in our power...that we do have a voice.

 

I liked your post so much I gave a link to it over on MyDepressionConnection.

 

This is a great way to empower people and if enough people share their convictions with the powers that be...hey...this is how change happens.

This is such a great post Christina and thank you for your extra push to us all for empowerment. As you are aware, recovery also entails hope along with empowerment and it is us that must take the lead with action. I too vote and call and email my elected reps. I am a veteran and most importantly, a U S citizen. Keep up the great work.
