Thanks for sharing the information about this book. It sounds like it can help a lot of people, not "sugar-coating" symptoms but explaining that no matter how difficult the symptoms may be, there is still hope.

My daughter is diagnosed with a NOS psychotic disorder that is looking more and more like schizophrenia. I just read this book and it was the only one that offered so much hope for those with the illness. I know that it'll be one book that I have my daughter read if and when we get to a firm diagnosis.
