Here's the last memoir excerpt in my duet about dueling doctors. To this day I still see Dr. Altman, and after I meet him on Friday, I'll write a blog entry for next week updating you about the recent Geodon switch. _______________________________________ It was a sum...

Thanks for sharing , Christina. That Dr. dance can be a difficult one. I've seen 10+ doctors in the last 30 years and I'm still not content!
I think you are right in taking the expectation OFF YOURSELF and placing it on the doctor. After all, it's his responsibility to perform , not yours. I sincerely hope that stellazine works for you . I'm surprised he didn't prescribe an atypical medication like seraquel or olanzipine. They tend to have fewer side effects , are less sedating and seem to be more effective. But then you know what's best for you.
Take care, Don
Hello Don,
Actually, this scene in the memoir takes place five years ago.
Dr. Altman is indeed the one who is currently orchestrating the switch to the Geodon.
Look for tomorrow's blog entry to talk about this.
Regards,
Chris
