I wanted to make this post to ask each of you if you think that the day may come that you no longer need any medication. Don't get me Wrong I would Never stop any medication without the suggestion from my psychiatrist. I remember back in 1987 my doctor took me off all medications to seei f I did still need them. Back then it showed I did. Now all these years later I seem the most stable I have ever been which leads me to question do I stil need my medication. I am thankful for the medication and glad it seems to be working but that leads me to my current way of thinking. In one way I think why fix something that is not broken but them again will I ever know if I still need the medication if I don't try living without it. I do not see my psychiatrist until July 22 but was wondering if I should try talking to him about it.
I want to close by again saying I would under no circumstances stop taking my medication without the blessing of my doctor and family. I am curious how some of you experts feel about this.
