Greetings from washington

just wanted to let each of you know I am throughly enjoying my stay here in our Nation's capital. We have experienced some bad storms as well as someone tryimg to jump the steps of The White House and a shooting at the Holocust museum. We were not at the museum at the time but some of us planned to see it today but after the shooting it was closed today. Did go to the Spy museum. As for the weather it was so bad on Tuesday some of us did not go to the game and for those that did it did not begin until 900p.m instead of 700p.m. last night the game was flying by until the bottom of the 9th inning when hard rain hit the ballpark. I left after waiting for close to an hour. The reds did win but the game ended uo lasting until 1230a.m and it started at 700 p.m. are going to a game this afternoon but once again storms are predicted. hopefully The Reds wil win again and the rain will hold off until later vthis evening.

Take Care and I will write again after I return home.

sincerely yours,

Janet

Hi Janet. That's unfortunate the games went so long. I didn't know they would play until 12am. Way too late for me. I go to sleep around 6pm. That shooting was a terrible event. I'm glad you were safe. I'm looking foward to hearing more of your trip. I would love to go to Washington. Margaret and I have talked about it.

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Dave
