It's funny (not really), but after hearing about AA from my sister I think I have a lot in common with people dealing with addictions. I don't know the 12 steps by heart, but I find myself doing many of them. Over and Over unfortunately.

12 step communities have helped alot of people. They helped me.

I've been reading your SharePost and I can relate.
My favorite 12 Step is that "I am powerless," as in "I am powerless over the SZ," and this has proved a wise sentiment to uphold.
Lately, I've been in a forgiving mood towards myself, and so I relate to your struggle with when to forgive and when to let go.
I suggest you forgive.
