My first diagnosis was "acute" depression. I was 22. It came out of the blue & quickly turned black. I was hospitalized in a catatonic state. 22 ECT'S helped me recover in 6 weeks. At age 32 I had my second hospitalization. It stated slowly over 9-12 months until it totaly enclosed me like a heavy black clould. My diagnosis was depression with schizophrenia charcteristics. After 20+ ECT'S & 2+ years later, I slowly recovered. This cycle repeated every 10 years until 2003 when I was hospitalized with bi-polar. This was fun? However; I have recovered from all epiosodes. So far, so good.Cool
