Well after trying to help someone, this person basically threatened to kill me and it was after the person had taken a medication (I forget what it was since I am not that familiar with any medicines, I will find out later). I know the person didn't really mean it but it was just way above my tolerance level. This is someone I know fairly well. I guess I will have to break off communication with this person at least for a while and let time and things do their work. I was really quite angry because I considered the person a friend and I don't really know what to do.

I didn't know this person was diagnosed with anything or was supposed to even be on medication. I did know that the person did have some issues with pain and being depressed but I didn't know it was that bad. The person is otherwise a fairly normal person apart from the irrational accusations and now the threat.

Hello Daleri,

Of course you needed to protect yourself.

You didn't know for sure why that person was taking the medication, right?

This reminds me of Winona Ryder claiming she shoplifted because she was on a medication that clouded her judgment.

Of course there is no comparison between that and a death threat.

Yes, it was a little much but everything seems to be OK but it changes the relationship dramatically. The medication was for muscle spasms or something like that.

Hello Daleri,

Some medications cause paranoia as a side effect of the medication, the names of the meds allude me now though this is possible.  Could've been Zyban and Chantix I was reading about, though don't quote me.

Of course, it does change the dynamic and there's no doubt about this, things have changed.

Regards,

Christina

I think it was Cyclobenzaprine, unless there is some other medication that I don't know about. Sometimes I think this medication is used to treat side affects of another medication.
