I would like to say hello to all of my new friends and just say that it is nice to be able to finally talk to someone (besides my doctor) who can relate to what myself and all of us are going through. It's kind of strange for me to use the word friends, because in reality in my life, I don't have any friends. I have always found it hard to drop my guard down and let people get close to me. Saying that, it's a wonder that I actually found a woman to marry and share 25 years of my life with. I am now divorced and have spent the last 7 years taking life one day at a time. All in all life is good. The bottom line is, success and happiness comes from what I myself make of it.Dealing with my illness is a struggle at times but I thank God for every day that I have been given.I have 2 great children who I have been blessed with.Without them I don't know where I would be.I love music, especially music from the 1940's or World War II era.I appreciate the great singers and musical standards of the past. There are times when I can be listening to a beautiful song, and the music will stir my soul to the point where I feel I can accomplish anything. I just want to say how happy I am to have found this web site. For the first time in a long time,I feel as though I have someone to relate to. I hope all of you have a great day and may God bless.
