    Hi Logan,

I agree it seems like there's a dearth of sz sites, possibly because you'll want to find reputable ones that focus on recovery, not the hell.

You could try www.nami.org, which has info on schizophrenia.

Also, although this doesn't answer your question specifically, you may want to save up money to attend the yearly NAMI convention, which next year is in San Francisco.  Though it will cost roughly $1,000 with registration, hotel and meals, it's well worth the price.  And if you can't afford to go, you can contact NAMI to be put on the e-mail list to find out about how you could apply for a scholarship to the convention.  In 2006, I received a scholarship for the Washington, D.C. conference.

Lastly, I have an author web site, www.christinabruni.com, where I keep a personal blog and also have an archive of articles I wrote for various magazines.

    Best regards,

    Hi, Logan,

For scientific /medical information and updates you might like to try Medscape. There is a SZ resource centre there, and also a lot of drug info. You will need to subscribe to medscape, but although it is primarily for health professionals, that is not exclusive.

Often some of the large academic Medical centres will also have good info if you google them, then enter your specific query.

Secondly, it had already occurred to me, in recent weeks since I joined here,(before I read Christina's suggestion for you which sort of proved it to me!),that for contact with other posters, who may as it happens have sz or similar, you might well find their blogs in creative writing/art  /philosophy groups etc, etc. Try searching for a field that interests you. But of course don't expect anyone wearing 'living with it' badges!!!Smile

    Best wishes
