I am offically calling it spring..LOL!!

The other day I saw several flocks of geese flying north. I have flowers budding. WOO HOO!!!

I so love spring. The start of new growth begins. The air is crisper, the sun shines more. All that yucky black snow caused by snowplows is melting away. Birds singing. What's not to love?

I have a cold. It isn't bad mostly coughing. I was debating whether or not to go to church tomorrow. I think I will. I don't like to miss it. I just won't shake anyone's hand.

The cheesecake turned out sooooo gooood. I put some raspberries on a piece.

It's my birthday. I can't believe it. I'm 48 years old. When I was younger (two years ago...lol!!) it was hard to think I'd be 48. Just think in two more years I can sign up for AARP!! My knees creak and snap when I walk. My hair fell out (cool didn't like it anyway). My 6 pack abs are now a beerball (I don't drink beer). My vision is governed with bifocals. My hearing is waning or is it waxing (can't stand loud music)? My teeth are like stars they come out at night.  I am fortunate to be able to remember where my shoes are (my socks are another matter). Given all that, it is a good day to be alive. I am grateful that I was able to live this long. For you young folks out there..the 40's rock!! I have to go and shower..thankfully we have a walkin shower..don't know if I could climb over the tub..LOL!
