Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 09:17 PMHello JadenSkies,
I'm glad you're out of the hospital and doing better. I recommend to anyone who just got out of a hospital that they attend a day program or IPRT.
It will get even better for you!
By the way, did you have access to a computer while you were in the hospital, or did you post here before you went in?
You may want to read Schizophrenia Digest, a quarterly magazine I also write for. I do a Q&A with three panelists, one of them is a woman who has schizoaffective.
I'm glad I inspired you.
Feel free to write SharePosts any time.
Cheers,
Chris

Hello JadenSkies,
You've come to the right place to talk things over with others who have similar experiences.
We're here for you and I look forward to your SharePosts.
Sometimes, it takes awhile to find the professional you can talk with.
Does your community or state have a drop-in center or a clubhouse?
That might be a good way to start to get support. A clubhouse might need a letter from a psychiatrist stating your diagnosis, but a drop-in center I believe is on the honor system as to what your dianosis is.
If you come up short with these two angles, please continue to post comments here. We are one of the few schizophrenia websites that allow members of our community to create SharePosts that are in effect your very own blog.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
