Walking the dog just as the sky goes blue 'lights up' to blue 'lights out' (dusk to night) and saw what I haven't seen before...the crescent moon seemed to be lying horizontally supporting, carrying, and lifting up....perhaps dreams and aspirations.... why not?..

the moon

Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 05:54 AMHi Chris. The moon has always been a special part of my life. When I was a child and living at home, the full moon would shine through my window on cloudless nights. The light was a beacon to soothe me through the darkness...not only through the night but through my life. It brings joy and hope..something I didn't have back then. It comforted me. The moon knows more about me than any living human being. I shared everything, when the light shone in the dark.
As I wrote that, I smiled. It brought back some wonderful memories.
Thanks Chris for being a light through the dark.
Sincerely,
David
