In my last post I wrote today I mentioned my grandfather. He's past on, but there's so many wonderful memories of him. He always treated me kindly, with love and respect. My father didn't like to be called sir or mister. He'd say that's my father. I took that as a compliment. I knew that when someone called me sir or mister that showed respect. My grandpa was a tall man, average build. He was bald and wore glasses. He voice was soft, and stern when necessary. I look alot like him. Bald I mean..lol. Last time I saw my father a couple of years ago he made the remark that I look more and more like his dad. That has to be the most kindest thing my dad ever said to me. I was elated. My grandpa was a minister. A God fearing man. He had no doubts about his Lord or his own life. He did the marriage ceremony for my first marriage. He loved my children dearly. I don't have many heroes, but he most certainly is tops with me. I love him so much. I wish I could be half the man he was.
