Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 05:04 AMI would like to welcome you to the Connection. You will find really good, kind, trusting and caring people here. As far as hallucinations go ...yeah I have them. I've been hearing voices for 28 years. Even as I type this I hear them. My meds help control them. I've also learned over the years how to cope.
Peace and friendship to you,
David

What a beautiful share post that reads like poetry at the end!
That is the one quote from Dr. Phil that I agree with, "We teach others how to treat us."
The garden: if I had a house, I would plant a garden.
Maybe, when I retire, I can volunteer at the Botanical garden where I live.
You have inspired me to consider this.
Or maybe I could plant a window sill "garden" of herbs or some kind of flower.
Cheers,
Chris

hi wow i like how you compared your garden to how you feel about your parents and pulling the weeds out. My parents blamed me for not telling them that I have this illness. I always knew I was different. People told me I was too nice in the beginning of my childhood years but as I became an adult I became mean and violent. Doctors just diagnosed me as schizo bipolar in my adult years because I started to have hallucinations. Have you ever had a hallucination? I apologize if I'm off topic. I'm new to this and you're the first picture that popped up.
