Its' 2am and all's quiet. Even in my head. I'm shutting out the noise in there. When I start to hear things I make a conscious effort to put it out. It seems to be working. I did the same thing when I quit smoking. When the urge came I pushed it away. I've been trying to focus on other things...

Fortunately, I am asleep at that time, but that was not always the case.  During my periods of insomnia is when I do my best creative work.  Maybe because the house is quiet and there are no distractions.

    Hi Dave,

I try not to be awake at two in the morning.  Usually if I am, it's because I'm worried about something.  Last night I fell asleep at 1:00 a.m. and I got out of bed at 8:10 a.m. today and started writing tomorrow's blog.

    Just roll with it.

    Cheers,

    Chri

    Hi Dave,

I can understand you're creative in the early morning.

Before I had the Stelazine raised from 5 mg to 10 mg, I would be up until 5:00 a.m. writing or tootling around.  Not healthy.

I envy people who can break night and not be tired the next day.

    Cheers,

    Chris
