Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 09:59 AMThank you David for sharing your post, the look of sz.
I to agree that there is no look of sz.
We are just like everyone else but we have a secret ,we live with sz.
None of my family or friends know of my illness and even if I told them they wouldn't believe me .
I do not share my symptoms and I have learned through my research of sz that I can differentiate what is real and what isnt.
I live a normal life since I am on 3 different medications that work very well for me, I now function normally.I am raising 3 children and will be getting married again next summer .I have a wonderful life! I am truly grateful for the medications that are out there for us who live with sz.
Thanks once again,
Mimi

Hi Dave,
I wrote the "Selling Alternatives to Stigma" blog entry in July about how the journal workshop women told me they would've never guessed I had schizophrenia.
Where do those other images come from? The media is one place.
I suggest you keep your new photo as the image that accompanies your SharePosts. It's a beautiful photo.
