This quote rings my bell. You may or not know that I've been having severe anxiety attacks. That's why I was in the hospital last week. Fortunately it was dealt with easily with medicine. The anxiet...

    Hi Dave,

I admire and respect your will to succeed.

Just last night, I was writing in my spiral-bound notebook, "I got a raw deal early in life."  So, too, I understand when you say you were dealt a bad hand.  It's how you play the hand that determines your success.

    Hang in there.

    Peace,

    cb

  2. A rough ride

    Hello Dave,

So sorry that you are having a tough rough ride at present, this roller-coaster condition always seems able to  produce  unexpected surprises , doesn't it! Not  of the kind one would wish for.

No wonder the  neurochemical balance sometimes tilts to anxiety or even extreme dread. It is as though the body is told it is in danger and needs to be on guard, in persistent crisis. Not a healthy situation.

I am writing this also  from the perspective of being a close friend to someone with fairly recently diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis which also is so unpreditable and makes it so difficult to prepare for. These illnesses, so different, nevertheless, seem to have many similarities in the way in which they cruelly impinge on people's lives. There seems a parallel here and both disorders are much misunderstood by outsiders.

Do hope your meds get adjusted to give relief, and you are able to find a smoother track ahead. With your determination and qualities I am sure you will make YOUR way!

     Your friend Chris,

Thanks Chris. You are so right this illness is unpredictable. I've been through worse times. Even during the anxiety ordeal I was able to see through it. I learned an important lesson...I have the strength and the drive that's needed to fight this. I will NOT allow myself to stay in the that state of mind. I came out of it a little dusty, but I still got through it. I expect to rollercoaster.  I don't think I'd like the smooth ride. My entire life's been up and down. I saw my way through alot of stuff. Thanks Chris, you just gave me an idea for my next post.Take care care.

    GOd bless, Dave
