I would like to ask a question.  This is something I've thought of over the years.

What is your definition of normal?

Dave

Normal is something i seem to stray further and further from as time goes by.

With the exception of those  occasional times i will try to  drape myself in the mask of normality when i wish to be unseen and undetected by the world.

I like an anonymous definition I learned in AA.  Normal is just a setting on a washing machine!

    Thx David,

Normal to me is getting a full-time job and working just as much as the next person.

    Hi Dave,

As a co-worker who knows about my sz told me years ago, "There is no normal."

The infamous Seal song, "Crazy," tells us; "We're never gonna survive/Unless/We get a little crazy."

I detest the word normal and avoid it at all costs in describing people or events or things that happen.

A penelist I interviewed for Schizophrenia Digest told me, "Normal is a dial on a washing machine," as Tinker told you just now.

I second the idea that there is no normal, and thus refuse to define it.

    Cheers,

    Christina
