Feeling great right now. No voices or WDAVE radio. It is so nice to be alone with my thoughts.    That vacation was a good one. It really recharged me. I forgot to tell ya, on the way home from Oklahoma we saw the Oscar Mayer weiner car! That was so cool! It doesn't take mu...

    Hi Dave,

I'm glad you had some peace and quiet today.  Enjoy it.

Food can be ambrosia!  I ate some organic strawberries right now that I thawed out after the delivery guy came with the order.  I order my food online and buy most of it organic, and it's delivered right to my door.

Alas, I'm not much of a cook or baker.  Would love to cook dinner for a friend once the desk is finally assembled correctly and all the broken parts are off the floor.  Until then,  no one sets foot in my apartment.

[The replacement part arrived on Tuesday, but alas, they sent the wrong part.  I have to call up on Monday to be sent the correct one.  The saga with the desk is never-ending.]

    Cheers,

    Christina

Sorry about your desk Christina. I can imagine how frustrating that is.

Food is ambrosia. Years ago when I started working in food service, I enjoyed every part of it. Now, I'm into baking. Yesterday I made a Black Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting. I frosted it too soon, the cake was still warm, and the top slid off. It looked horrible, but the cake was yummy. "Don't judge a cake for the melted frosting!"

    Have a Happy 4th.

    Dave
