Feeling great right now. No voices or WDAVE radio. It is so nice to be alone with my thoughts.

That vacation was a good one. It really recharged me. I forgot to tell ya, on the way home from Oklahoma we saw the Oscar Mayer weiner car! That was so cool! It doesn't take much to awe me..LOL!

Mandy and Dylan may be coming over today. I hope Dylan behaves. Poor kid has a rough life at 5 years old. I won't go into it because I get really mad and upset.

I kept busy yesterday. Actually I over did it. What else is new. The weather was good, so I weedeated the weeds. And then cleaned the pool. Teddy helped. That dog loves the pool. He jumped right in and swam around. He splashed me too. We had fun in there.

I made a pizza with a different dough. It was alright. Margaret saved a slice for later in the day. When she went to eat it, it was better cold than hot. The dough is from a local bakery. They have the best cold pizza. When I worked at the Community Store at the state hospital, we would get a sheet pizza everyday. I was the first one in, so it was my job to set the food up. I had a slice of that pizza every morning for many years. I always ate the best piece...lol! SEE? the early bird not only gets the worm, but the best slice of pizza! And, if you are always early you can get enough worms to go fishing!

I journal alot about food and voices. The two things that are always there. Food is my first love. When I was growing up I would "help" mom in the kitchen. She wasn't a very good cook, but I loved to watch her. I became a cook because I wanted to eat what I wanted! I like to know what's in the food. Over the years cooking became an outlet. I always feel good while cooking. I turn on my music (not Margaret's..hee hee) and sing and dance around the kitchen. Nothing feels better than a homecooked meal.

I feel great. I think I said that already, but it needed to be repeated.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Live, love, laugh, learn, listen,

Dave
