I told Margaret that I was gonna take it easy. I had every intention too. Well needless to say I was very busy up until now.
We took the dogs to the park. I kept Teddy on a 15' leash. He likes to run, but doesn't come back when called. Frappe and Coco come when called. I let Teddy chase the ducks and the geese into the river. He swam quite awhile. No ducks or geese were harmed.
We then went to the flea market. (Dogs needed more fleas..lol!) We bought a book. I'll read it someday. There's a man who sells fresh fruit and veggies. We bought some peaches. The market was jammed with people. We didn't stay long.
We went to the grocery store. The lady cashier is funny. She says "hi guys" and I tell her that Margaret isn't a guy..LOL! Margaret swats me..lol! Now every time we go there she just says "hi".
Then when we finally got home I made a cheesy, bacon meatloaf. Margaret suggested we put potatoes on the bottom of the pan. OMG! It was the best meatloaf I ever made. The potatoes were good too. And ! Putting the potatoes on the bottom made it easier to clean the pan.
While the meatloaf cooked, I made Red Velvet cupcakes. I have to frost them here in a bit. I'm gonna make a cream cheese frosting.
So..so much for taking it easy! I knew I wasn't gonna take it easy. I'm addicted to cleaning, cooking and baking.
Take care everyone. I'm gonna go make the frosting.
Live, love, laugh, learn, listen,
Dave
