not gonna win

  • The voices have been chaotic at best this morning. Throw in some music and I have a rock concert going.

I slept good. I woke late at 3:45am. Coco has been under my chair ever since then. Its getting to be a ritual for him.

I have been craving to eat all morning long. I am armed with my experience from stopping smoking. I resist the urges and not give in. I know I can lose weight, I've lost 100 lbs before. Most of which I've gained back.

I carved a pumpkin (fake one) for the computer repair shop. I carve pumpkins for businesses that are good to me. So far I have carved four. Its my way of saying your business is appreciated. I love Halloween and go all out for it. We deck out our front porch every year. Its alot of fun. We get close to 100 kids trick or treating.

Take care of yourselves and always remember to,

    Live, love, laugh, learn, listen,

    Dave

    Hi Dave,

I'm sure the businesses and other people in your life appreciate the things you do for them.  How do you carve a fake pumpkin?

I once told someone to "not give up the fight" and you seem instinctively to know this.  We will all have good days and not-so-good days.  "Everybody has something," each one of us.

Again you truly are an inspiration.

    Regards,

Thanks Christina for your kind words and encouragement. I appreciate it.

The pumpkins are foamlike. Not quite styrofaom, its harder. I print out a pattern, then I tape it to the pumpkin and then cut it out using an exacto knife. They are very time consuming to make. I've been carving for 4 or 5 years now. It started out with real pumpkins but they are...

      Have a good day!
