I've been talking about my voices for some time now. It took me years to get to this point of reality, open discussion, acceptance, honesty and recovery.   It is nice to see alot more are talking about their voices. Its nice to share thoughts and coping skills. I am amazed at the courage ...

I hear voices only sometimes commenting on what I do or commenting on what someone says or what I say or laughter.  I hope they all go away though.  I guess it could be worse than it is.  Though it could be better.  I am glad you are improving.

    Hi Dave,

My psychiatrist once told me, "You see me?  I have a thing.  The guy in the other office?  He has a thing.  You just have something a little harder."  Hearing this I felt better because I could put my experience in perspective.  It is hardly comfort for some of us to realize other people have it hard when our own life is hell.  Yet I believe we should reach out and understand that "everybody has something."  Like I've said before getting involved in the world around you and helping others is a salve for your pain.

    Enjoy your evening.

    Regards,

    Christina

I believe that the voices happen usually while we are asleep, but in Schizophrenics it can happen while awake. Sorry to hear you are hearing them so much recently, could it be due to stress?

Anyway, it's nice to read your posts as always and hope you are feeling better.
