I got my Risperadol Consta shot at my pdoc appointment yesterday. I feel better but a little "jumpy." It will go away. I asked my pdoc about that new shot that's out. I forgot the name. It is taken administered once a month. He said it won't be out until next year. I told him I wanted in on it. He also said that if it didn't work for me then we will go back to the bi-weekly Risperadol Consta.
I woke today to Eric Clapton singing Layla. The verse "you got me on my knees Layla" is repeating. I must have heard that about 150 times already. (I really wasn't counting)
Did someone mention pumpkins? Oh maybe not. Well since I brought up the subject, I am carving a fake pumpkin for my granddaughter. I cut her name in it yesterday. I'm gonna put a crescent moon and two or three stars and a bat (Margaret drew the bat) on it.
I cleaned the rocks in the big fish tank. What a chore that was. I also took care of the dead erchen and crab. Hopefully today we will take a water sample to have it tested. There's a pet store here that does it for free. I hate going there, the sales people are really "crabby."
I now have two major projects going. I am multitasking again (I mean always). I would like to say I can't help it, in reality I can help it. One of the projects is, I'm writing down memories. I've written quite a bit. I have a fear I will forget alot of it, and in fact I have some "holes" in there now. I can't say what the other is.
WOW! That helped my "jumpiness." Is that a word?
Here are 2 poems I wrote recently that I'd like to share.
8/11/2009 "I looked up"
I look to the sky
not knowing why
there's impending dread
as hold my head
How often I hear
when the voices are here
viving to be
the only one for me
the echoes that ring
don't mean anything
I wondered why
its in the sky
8/12/2009 "voices of the sky"
Voices may come
voices may go
never quite knowing
the where and the why
they all are showing
if only the world could see
the way they wreak havoc
on any given day
you can listen
or maybe not
don't despair
or give up hope
that can't control
unless they have rope
to cling too close
I'm off to work on one of the projects.
Take care until we meet again,
Live, love, laugh, learn, listen,
Dave
