realization

By David Robbins Monday, August 17, 2009

OMG! I just realized I hadn't written a sharepost. I get so caught up in things.

I feel pretty good. The lyric "you ain't gonna make it" by The Who is skipping through my brain like a scratched 33 1/3 vinyl record.

Teddy put a hole in the top ring around the pool. I patched it but won't know until tomorrow if it held, I have to put air in it. The water was nice again today.

I made two loaves of zucchini bread. They are almost done. The house smells wonderful.

I've been getting overtired lately. I can't seem to maintain enegry. I got winded making the bed. The migrane headaches are back. I've woken up with one for a few days now.

I took the bread out of the oven and flipped it onto a cooling rack. The bread fell out and wasn't done all the way through. I put the other back in the oven. The bread tastes really good.

Hi Dave,

Sorry about the pool.  Hopefully it will be patched up OK and you can go in it today in this heatwave.

Yes, I've been tired lately too and it's most likely because of the suddenly hot weather where I live.

Your zucchini bread sounds like another wonderful creation.  Have you ever thought of volunteering your time at a residence or other facility where you can teach peers how to cook?

You would be so proud of me: I cooked a new recipe last night.  Surf on over to my personal blog, Joyful Music to see a photo of the dinner.  I aim to cook one new thing loosely every week.

As always I look forward to your SharePosts.

Regards,

Christina

Hello Christina.

Thank you for the comment.

The last two years of my former job, I was teaching consumers how to cook. At first I took 4 at a time. They would plan what meal to make and I'd teach em. We made some great meals. It was a welcome break from unit food. I taught 5 or 6 different goups of 4. I found that to be most rewarding job I ever had. That lead me into what I do today, helping people.

I saw your meal on your blog. That looked delicious!

Keep up making new meals.

I hope you find it rewarding, relaxing scrumpitious.

peace my friend,

Dave
