I opened my eyes today and it was a little after 6am. My, I haven't done that in months.
I went to the "express lane" pdoc. I think I broke my record....4 mintues 32 seconds. My anxiety was high. The reason for that is I never know what to say when he asks "what's new?" I contemplate things, in reality I have nothing (at least for him).
I have some good news. My pension is gonna have a little extra in it next month.
Margaret and I went shopping the other day for a white dress shirt for me. I didn't know my neck size, I tried on a shirt, it fit. I looked at the price and it was $4.20, marked down from $42.00! I bought two other shirts and a necktie. We saved $89.00! I like sales like that.
No music today. A few voices but I'm ignoring them.
Frappe is doing so much better. He is back to his wiggly old self. I think Teddy has it out for Coco. Two times he tried to drown Coco. The other day at the park Coco got wound up in Teddy 15' lead. Teddy took off running and poor Coco got hung by his neck about a foot off the ground! I let go of my end and untangled Coco. He has a guardian Angel, he is okay.
Mrs.Smith or David Robbins? I made a pumpkin pie from scratch. The pie turned out better than Mrs.Smith's. I vote for the homemade version (Of course I'm biased). Put a little whipped cream on it...MMMMMMMMMMMMM!
I haven't any words of wisdom this morning. I feel okay though.
I guess I will post this.
Live, love, laugh, learn, listen,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Isn't it good to find a nice shirt on sale?
Yum . . . pumpkin pie. You like pumpkin pie. I'm not a fan of it though. I like Boston Cream pie and key lime pie. In 1992, I made a key lime pie and brought it to work and my boss said it was as good as she's had in restaurants.
Alas, it is hard to find key limes so you would probably have to substitute with regular limes. Key lime pie is my favorite. I will look to see if I still have the recipe and if you'd like to try it, let me know and I'll see if I have the recipe on hand.
I'm glad you have some comfort today.
Enjoy your day.
Cheers,
Christina
Christina,
I would love to have that Key Lime Pie recipe. I've never tried one. Margaret loves them.
Have a good day!
Dave
