Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 04:34 AMI too love sausage biscuits and gravy. I did make some the other day.
We give alot of the cooked and baked goods to my daughter (Mandy) and grandson. Mandy gives some to her neighbor. I guess they are spoiled by my gifts. I do it to help them they all are on welfare and don't have much in the way of finances. They love the food I share with them.
You gave me a good idea to share with my neighbors. I will start to give some to them.
Have a good day!
Dave

Paying It Forward

Friday, October 23, 2009 at 08:46 PMHi Dave,
Your SharePost got cut off on my computer. I take it from the thread you made biscuits and gravy. Wonderful.
I have some new recipes I'm going to try out next week: green beans with mushrooms and fried onions. Monday night I'm going to cook whole wheat pasta and Barilla olives and mushroom sauce.
Cheers,
Christina

I love biscuits! Especially the homemade kind, and especially warm right out of the oven. Preferably with a sausage patty and apricot jam sitting inside. My dad ate sausage every day of his life until he found out that pork was giving him migraines. Mom switched to turken sausage, but it just wasn't the same. And he would sneak ham sometimes at Thanksgiving or Christmas, but it always made him sick. Hey, it was his choice. I guess he valued the ham over being headache-free.
You cook so much, so often, do you and Margaret eat it all yourselves, or do you share some with neighbors? (Just wondering!)
