My son is 22, I have schizophrenia,and I'm trying to decide whether to see him for the first time since he was born.
I'm not sure how he'll react or really what to say to him. I think he deserves to know ,with the genetic component theory being a popular one these days.( My grandfather was mentally ill ). I was too ill to raise him and my wife couldn't support him so for now my mother and me are leaving it up to the adoption registry (sort-of)
