I try to ignore the mutterings but they come back. I tell them to speak up or get the hell out but neither happens for long. It pisses me off that I can't tell what they're saying, it's like a room full of party people off in the distance. I suspect what they're saying but nothing is confirmed. I tried to have a meeting of the mind, to address them face to face but they just laugh and move to another corner to continue mumbling. Don't you think that's rude? I've told them I won't be dealing with them anymore and you should hear the laughter.
