    Hi Paul, yes your blog raises a serious concern.   For example, a person who has difficulty paying for their meds is obviously more likely to participate in research.. Also patients can be bullied  or coerced into participating when it is not healthy for them to do so.   

     I think the drug companies should stay with college kids and leave those who suffer from various maladies safe in their homes .
