I quit smoking years ago. At that time I smoked 3 packs a day. My morning routine back then was, coffee and cigarettes. That was my breakfast. I smoked whenever I had the chance. I stopped I stopped drinking coffee all together. After that I quit ciggies. One day I came home from work. We lived near a park. My son wanted to play basketball. 5 minutes into our game I couldn't breathe. I decided then and there that I wanted to quit. I went home and destroyed a whole brand new carton of cigs. I had read alot of anti -smoking brocheres. I didn't want to chew gum...weight gain. I decided that I would flush it out by drinking water. I picked up a small smooth stone. Everytime I had the urge to smoke I rubbed the stone until the urge went away. It's been at least 15 years..I don't recall how many years. The first few months were hard, but I kept at it.
I can breathe alot better.
