My son has been in the hospital since Dec. 29th and is on the 5 or 6 medication and nothing has help him yet.  Any suggestions.  His insurance has ran out for the year and we are now just racking up a huge bill.  He is 24, just graduated from 6 years from a University and was doing an internship when we knew something was going on.  I am not always on line so may be a little time before I get back on.  Any GREAT places to try out there for treatment???  His mother and father that love him dearly

My son, who graduated at the age of 22 with an honours degreee in Computer Science has just been diagnosed with residual schizophrenia. It took us seven years to get the proper diagnosis. He only had one outburst of hallucinations etc. But he has no interest in obtaining work or socialising. I have no problems with him except he hardly ever leaves the house. He is now 29, has no work and is quite content to stay at home. About three weeks ago, he started medications and I am praying and hoping I see some changes.
