I have been living with a man whom I had accused of being paranoid.  But because the ideas he expressed seemed so logical and possible and I could "identify" with them, I didn't think that anything was wrong. Until - he started believing that an incident at work led to the belief that the police was following him, wiretapping his surroundings, etc.  At first I dismissed it, calling him "nuts" and "crazy" for such a belief.  Then when he couldn't even go to work, I realized that something was wrong.

He is now taking anti-psycotic and anti-depressant medications.  While he no longer believes that he is being followed by the police, he still believes that the people at work are "out to get him".  He has not been back to work for a year and a half.  Also with the medications, he sleeps a lot.

I don't know what the solutions is.  He has been living with his parents, but he still has his things at my place.  I can't make up my mind what to do.

Can someone let me know what it is like to have a relationship and llive with a man who is prone to paranoia?
